JOIN the WRCHH as a MEMBER
The Wellington Region Community Health Hub (WRCHH) is a Private Membership Association (PMA). Members may include the people who use the Hub’s services or buy its goods (General Members), the skilled and experienced people that provide its health services (Health Practitioner Members), or those that assist in its operation, leadership, and governance (Core Leadership Team (CLT) Volunteer Members).
Some of our members may be part of our social media group (excludes observers and potential members), active in poll voting or in attending our upcoming Hub meetings, have accepted and signed a current PMA Agreement (and Practitioner Agreement, when relevant), and/or may be a current member that actively provides or receives health services; and would have accepted our current Terms & Conditions (e.g. Policies), which become our laws, traditions and customs.
Active Members democratically guide the PMA for the benefit of their members and member communities. Decision-making in the PMA may be carried out by its active attending members at upcoming Hub Meetings, via poll voting, and/or by the CLT Volunteer Members.

General Member(s)
General Members are members that are part of our social media group (excludes observers and potential members), are active in poll voting or in attending our upcoming Hub meetings, and/or are a current member that may actively receive health services or products from time to time. In exchange, they receive member benefits (e.g. up to 50% OFF usual advertised prices for most services).

A member may include someone who would like to receive or offer discounted health services, or a volunteer that wishes to assist in this endeavour. For you to offer health services, you would need to be a qualified or trained Health Practitioner.

Health Practitioner Member(s)
Health Practitioner Members are members that provide health services for our General Members either onsite, offsite or online. Some Health Practitioner Members may also be Core Leadership Team (CLT) Volunteer Members. For these members, an owner-specific resource database may be maintained to be able to loan or rent any of their resources (e.g. specialist equipment), if they so wish.
The WRCHH would love to have a broad range of Health Practitioner Members who align with our vision and values. Come and join us!
We are looking for Conventional (e.g. physiotherapists, chiropractors, counsellors, osteopaths) and Holistic Medicine Practitioners (most modalities), preferably based within the Wellington Region, and that would like to form part and assist us in propelling our vision forward. You will ideally have moderate to advanced experience, and some of your own customers (although not essential).
For onsite working members, we ask for a Koha of a maximum of 20% of Practitioner fee/hour.
Provide your input and ideas for the further development of our Community Health Hub, carry out a consultation, and then do some freelancing jobs at your desk during the down time (if you wish), or grab a cup of tea while admiring the beautiful view of the Wellington Harbour.

Core Leadership Team (CLT) Volunteer Member(s)
In order for us to build a true ‘We, the People’ Health Initiative, we need the support and expertise of The People.
If you feel passionate about being part of this Health Initiative that brings power back to the communities, enables others to make informed health choices that align with their values and beliefs, and that puts The People ahead of profits, then we would love you to join us as a CLT Volunteer Member at our not-for-profit Community Health Hub.
CLT Volunteer Members provide leadership skills for the successful governance, management and operations of the PMA. Any skilled and suitable member may apply to be appointed to the CLT (when vacancies are available). The CLT comprises a maximum of three members, and reserves the right of a final vote in order to achieve a voting majority (only when necessary).
Our volunteer support is incredibly important to this initiative.
